Náš poslední týden v Kanadě jsme si užili v plné parádě.
Na začátku týdne jsme krásně nafotili auto a rozeslali inzeráty všema směry. Přes velké množství zájemců se nám ale auto nepodařilo prodat až do posledního dne! Bylo to prostě napínavé až do konce.
Navíc jsme zvládli při jednom výletu po okolí Pembertonu píchnout! Výměna pneu těžkotonážníka byla zajímavá. Lucinka musela přivézt kleště na přestříhnutí zámku, který držel náhradní kolo.
Za nadlidský výkon v dešti byl Benji odměněn dvojitou duhou!
Ještě nám Luci stihla ukázat Semaphore lakes. Na výšlap nám dokonce od kamaráda půjčila mimi krosnu a tak Benji mohl Charlinku pohodlně vynést až nahoru k jezerům. Zabralo nám to nakonec asi dvě hoďky stoupání, ale za ten nádherný výhled to stálo. A těch borůvek!!!
Poslední den jsme si ještě vyjeli gondolou nad Whistler. Lucinka nám na to dokonce sehnala lístky zdarma!
U Luci a Shana jsme to proste měli full servis! Krásně se o nás starali a kdykoli to šlo, půjčili nám auto, abychom nemuseli jet karavanem. Už se těšíme, až přijedou na návštěvu do Austrálie, abychom jim pohostinnost mohli oplatit.
V pondělí jsme se rozloučili a přesunuli se do Vancouveru. Na dvě noci jsme zarezervovali hotel, abychom měli ještě šanci zkusit prodat auto.
Nakonec jsme si plácli s paní z Nanaima a v 10 večer jsme z okna hotelu sledovali, jak nejistě vyvezla Fredieho z parkoviště. Uf! To bylo na poslední chvíli!
Nálada na bojišti byla rázem o dost veselejší. Oslavili jsme to pivem napůl a šli spát!
Další den nás čekala nová destinace!

We thoroughly enjoyed our last week in Canada.
At the beginning of the week, we took photos of the car and sent out advertisements in all directions.
Despite a large number of interested buyers, we did not manage to sell the car until the last day! It was just thrilling until the end.
In addition, we managed to pop the tyre during one trip around Pemberton! Changing the tire of a heavy-duty RV was interesting. Lucy had to bring pliers to cut the lock that held the spare wheel.
Benji was rewarded with a double rainbow for his superhuman performance in the rain!
On Sunday Lucy took us for a hike to Semaphore lakes. Her friend lent us a baby backpack for the hike, so Benji could comfortably carry Charlinka all the way up to the lakes. In the end, it took us about two hours of climbing, but it was worth it for the wonderful view. And those blueberries!!!
On the last day, we took a gondola ride up to Whistler. Lucy even got us free tickets for it!
We simply had full service at Lucy's and Shane's! They looked after us beautifully and whenever possible lent us a car so we didn't have to drive the caravan.
We are already looking forward to them coming to visit Australia so that we can repay their hospitality.
On Monday we said our goodbyes and drove to Vancouver. We booked a hotel for two nights to give us a last chance to try to sell the car.
We ended up shaking hands with a lady from Nanaimo and at 10pm we watched from the hotel window as she unsteadily drove Fredie out of the parking lot. Phew! That was last minute!
The mood on the battlefield was suddenly much more cheerful. We shared a beer to celebrate and went to bed!
A new destination awaited us the next day!
