Další let jsme zvládli s lehkostí, snad už to ani nestojí za zmínku. Charlinka je ostřílená cestovatelka, letiště ji baví a lety si vyloženě užívá.
Do hotelu v Perthu jsme dorazili po obědě. Zašli jsme se projít do parku, který byl poblíž hotelu a objednali si večeři na pokoj.
Další den ráno Benji zajel vyzvednout Frankie z parkoviště.
Samozřejmě se to neobešlo bez menších komplikací. Baterka byla po měsíci stání vybitá. Technici mu auto ale docela rychle nahodili a po deváté už na nás čekal na parkovišti před hotelem.
Charlie měla obrovskou radost, když Frankie viděla. Dokonce jí dala pusu na nárazník!
Komplikace číslo dvě byla lednička. V té se za ten měsíc vytvořilo tolik plísně, že jsme měli více plísně než ledničky. Nic, s čím si neporadíme, ale až v kempu!
První noc jsme zaparkovali v karavan parku v Bunbury.
Bylo potřeba pořádně uklidit a zorganizovat auto a taky si vyprat.
Další den jsme dojeli do známé vinařské oblasti Margret River.
Samozřejmě jsme si zašli na oběd do vinařství. Jmenovalo se Swings and Roundabouts. Měli tam super hřiště pro děti a tak nakonec měla největší radost Charlie.
Přespali jsme v krásném kempu Conto’s campground, který byl poblíž místních jeskyní. Do jedné jsme se zašli další den ráno podívat. Charlie byla fascinovaná a vůbec se ji nechtělo z jeskyně ven.
Z prohlídky jeskyně mi v hlavě utkvěla skvělá pomůcka, jak si konečně zapamatovat krápníky (je ale v angličtině):

Další noc jsme byli v kempu Shannon campground. Ten byl překvapivě úplně prázdný, přestože byl fakt hezký.
Vtipné bylo, že si pro teplou sprchu člověk musel nejdříve založit oheň pod kotlem a pak jej hodiny udržovat, než se voda nahřeje.
Nakonec jsme šli spát a teplou si dali až ráno.
Teplou sprchu má doma kde kdo, ale kdy jste si naposledy museli před sprchou nejdříve naštípat třísky?
Předpověď na další tři dny byla mizerná. Déšť a zima se dají přežít, když jste doma. Co ale dělat v autě?
Na tři dny jsme se schovali v AirBnB poblíž města Denmark.
Cestou jsme se zastavili na fish and chips v Peaceful Bay.
Tak skvěle připravené fish and chips jsme ještě neměli! Fakt!
Protože hodně pršelo, dost jsme se schovávali doma a hráli si. Měli krb, a tak jsme si každý den udělali oheň a koukali, jak venku prší.
Když se počasí na chvíli uklidnilo, projeli jsme místní pláže.
Škoda, že nám v téhle oblasti moc nevyšlo počasí. Kdyby bylo hezky, dokázali bychom tady strávit i týdny! Tak nádherně křišťálovou vodu a bílý písek jsem viděla naposledy na Bariérovém útesu!
Co se dá dělat, alespoň máme dobrý důvod se sem jednou vrátit!

We managed the next flight with ease, maybe it's not even worth mentioning. Charlinka is a seasoned traveler, she likes airports and she really enjoys flights.
We arrived at the hotel in Perth after lunch. After a long walk in the park nearby we ordered room service for dinner.
The next morning Benji drove to pick up Frankie from the parking lot.
Of course, it was not without minor complications. The battery was flat after a month of standing. But the mechanics fixed the car for him quite quickly, and by nine o'clock he was already waiting for us in the parking lot in front of the hotel.
Charlie was overjoyed to see Frankie. She even gave her a kiss on the bumper!
Complication number two was the fridge. It developed so much mould in that month that we had more mould than fridge. Nothing we can't handle, but got to get to the campsite first!
The first night we parked at a caravan park in Bunbury.
The car needed to be properly cleaned and organised and we had a bag of laundry to do.
The next day we reached the famous Margret River wine region.
Of course we went to a winery for lunch. It was called Swings and Roundabouts. They had a great playground for children there, so in the end Charlie was the happiest of us all.
We spent the night at the beautiful Conto's campground, which was near the local caves. We went to see one the next morning. Charlie was fascinated and did not want to leave the cave at all.

The next night we were at Shannon Campground. It was surprisingly completely empty, although it was really nice.
The funny thing was that in order to take a warm shower, one had to start a fire under the boiler first and then maintain it for hours until the water heated up.
In the end we went to bed and didn't get warm water until the morning.
Everyone I know has a hot shower at home, but when was the last time you had to make kindling with an axe before taking a shower?
The forecast for the next three days was bleak. Rain and cold can be survived when you are at home. But what to do with a toddler in the car?
We hid in an AirBnB near the town of Denmark for three days.
On the way we stopped for the local specialty - fish and chips at Peaceful Bay. We have never had such excellently prepared fish and chips! Really!
Because it rained a lot, we stayed a lot at home and played. The house had a fireplace, so every day we made a fire and watched the rain outside.
When the weather calmed down for a bit, we drove around the local beaches.
It's a shame that the weather didn't work out for us in this area. If it was better, we could've spent weeks here! The last time I saw such beautiful crystal clear water and white sand was on the Barrier Reef!
What can be done, at least we have a good reason to come back!
