We returned to Coffs quite tired and out of juice. The weather was cold and rainy, so we spent most of the time holed up like bears in a den.
Maybe it was time to slow down a bit and just "be".
We played a lot, cooked treats and watched fairytales.
When it wasn't raining, we walked to the local park and launched bark boats on the river in the forest.
One morning we went to visit Benji's grandmother in a retirement home. She took us to the local pond where she goes to feed the ducks.
We also caught up with Ellie and Chris and met their new baby Finn.
And then it was time to raise the anchors and set off for Sydney. We fit in a night in Newcastle at Naomi's on the way. She took us to the train station the next morning, but this time we were not saying goodbye for long.
We will be home in two months!
